    Ken & I are thrilled to share that our family has grown!💜🌟Our son, Rai Larson Ithiphol, was brought into the world on Friday, December 2, 2022, by an incredibly generous surrogate, to whom we’re eternally grateful.(Rai is pronounced like “rye” or “chai.”) We love him very much.

    Spike has let us know his time on this planet is coming to an end. I am heartbroken & also forever grateful to him for his 19 years of wonderful companionship. He’s fought & won many other health battles over the years, but kidney failure has beaten him this time. 💔💔💔

    A little after 5pm ET today, old man Spike transitioned off this mortal coil. Thanks to all of you who’ve expressed your loving words. He was an incredibly vibrant, sweet-natured, resilient, & idiosyncratic cat & I treasure the 19 years he graced my life. Rest well, Spike.
