    Some news: I’ve accepted an amazing new role as Senior Sports Editor at @AJCsports. It’s bittersweet, leaving after 23-plus years at The Detroit News, my first and only newspaper home, and Michigan, the only state where I’ve ever lived. It's an immense blessing and I'm excited.
