    I got an early Christmas present yesterday. A year ago Thanksgiving my dad found out he had melanoma that had metastases to his brain. 12 months the later, major brain surgery, radiation and immunotherapy treatment he had back to back MRIs showing no more cancer.

    75 years ago 18 and 19 year old boys got off boats in the face of a firing squad and most certain death...and they overcame it...keep perspective, markets mean nothing.
