- Zanzibar is trending. And the Warere beach hotel's Google rating has gone from 4.5 to 1.2. This won't repair what @zanaibdehinde experienced but perhaps it will prevent other women from experiencing similar trauma. Tanzania needs to improve its experience for Black women.

- Bassirou Diomaye Faye, 5th elected president of Senegal, was born in 1980. Opposition candidate, the 43 year old was recently released from prison after spending 11 months in detention. He was a replacement for the popular Sonko, who was ineligible for the election.
