- we almost gave up on building fume. we were looking to pivot, convinced that we were not cut out for the job. hearing our name mentioned in the lightcone podcast put the biggest of smiles on my face and i wanted to write about why i think YC is truly special for every founder.

- we heard you! it's never been this easy to try fume! we had so many people telling us they couldn't try fume because they couldn't connect their repos due to various reasons. so, we selected a number of open source repos and added them to FUME PLAYGROUND. it's a lightweight
- in our yc interview @eshear asked me if i thought gpt-5 would be a marginal improvement over gpt-4. i answered ‘yes’. i think i was right, they just named it gpt-4o.
