My sincere gratitude to all of the health care workers who have come out of retirement to rejoin the front lines of our #COVID19 response. To date, 210 nurses & 25 physicians have re-registered to support our surge capacity, as we prepare for what is ahead of us.

Thank you to all those working in public health care this weekend - nurses, pharmacists, doctors, care aides, health sciences professionals, home care workers, paramedics, cleaning and food services (and more) and especially those at @CDCofBC. Gratitude

Our hospitalizations have gone down, slightly, to 146 people. Of those, 64 are currently in critical care units. This is the moment that will make the difference. We must hold the line and be unwavering in our commitment, to slow the spread of #COVID19 & flatten the curve.

For those of you, the majority of BCers, who've been working selflessly, faithfully+perfectly for mths to stop #COVID19, & who watch #s rise w/ disappointment I say this: don't give up. Don't lose faith. Don't lose hope. We're counting on you. We see your sacrifice & thank you

Our self-assessment tool for #COVID19 is now online and will help determine if you need further assessment or testing. You can complete this assessment for yourself, or on behalf of someone else, if they are unable to. covid19.thrive.health

Our approach in #BC has been uniquely ours. Our response to #COVID19 was early; our renewal was thoughtful; our commitment to stopping the spread was 100% all-in. British Columbians have sacrificed much to flatten our curve. Letโ€™s not lose sight of the effort we have all put in

This weekend we need to take a step back and recommit to the foundational rules for safe social interactions. Avoid parties, especially indoors. If this is not possible, practice physical distancing. Physical distancing saves lives.

This is our fight in BC. Our BC effort. And this is our time, our moment. These weeks are critically important to all of us. We have to do more now. We must hold the line. We have to be all in. 100%. If we do that, we can flatten the curve and slow the spread of #COVID19.
