The ABA's role regulating law schools is being reconsidered out of concerns that it is anticompetitive, ideologically biased, and prone to micromanagement. In a new paper, we look at the track record of the existing alternatives to ABA-approved law schools.

The ABA is considering increasing the experiential credits law students must take to graduate. However, in new research, we find that the ABA's last experiential increase did not improved bar passage rates or employment outcomes.
