This is my hot take. There are many like it, but this hot take is mine. My hot take is my best friend. It is my life. My hot take, without me, is useless. Without my hot take, I am useless. My hot take is human, even as I, because my hot take is my life.

This is literally the most damning piece of oppo you could drop in a primary.
BREAKING: My Congressman did not bother to vote on Tuesday or for Kamala Harris in 2024. He skipped SIX recent elections.

“You’ve been such a gracious fan tonight tell me what your thoughts are about this win tonight.” “I think this is huge for DC. DC needed this. We’ve got some asshole in the fucking White House...(camera cuts away)” WHAT AN ABSOLUTE FUCKING LEGEND. #WONTHEFIGHT

I think one thing leftists have a hard time comprehending is just how truly radicalizing it must be to spend every single day at work around House Republicans. This makes perfect sense not as a betrayal to the DSA but to lived experience of the dangerous crazy of the House GOP.
Rep. @AOC on her decision to contribute to the @dccc for the first time, as first reported by the NYTimes: "If Democrats do not retake the House in November, I do not have confidence that a Republican majority would certify the results of a presidential election."

2020 should unite all Democrats in getting rid of caucuses, redoing the primary calendar, and bringing ranked choice voting to primaries (because if we're going to vote by mail all these votes for candidates who have dropped out is also a form or disenfranchisement).

There are no better quotes in politics than the ones from the defeated primary rival’s consultant after the candidate that beat them eats it in the general. Even by that standard this is a wild quote. ajc.com/politics/analy…

It’s rarely the app (though sometimes it is the app) but it’s almost always the training on the app. Or the downloading of the app. Or the initial login and setup of the app. Particularly when volunteers are involved. cc @sara_ela

Elon is the purest distillation of every single discussion of a content moderation issue on an internal Facebook only group where an infrastructure engineer who just heard of the problem explains his easy solution to the non-eng coworker who is the world leading authority on it.

It took the male Secretary of Defense getting one to make the media ask “what is a UTI?” while every woman in America pulls their hair out in rage.

I thought this too but I was semi-convinced she may be Gen X based on the Keanu calendar argument. Worried I can’t support her now if she is spiritually Gen X.

No. Gen X is based on the Keanu calendar. He's officially The First. She was born a month after Him.

It was easier to get three presidents in the same room than it was to get the cast of arrested development back in the same place to film the Netflix seasons four and five

The ability for single parents to use the quota of both parents is a great idea.
Finland will now give all new parents the same amount of leave — 164 days, paid — regardless of gender. Single parents will also have the right to use the parental leave quotas of both parents. nyti.ms/2upkCLo

When I was running South Philly for the last few weeks of the campaign, I heard about the rebuilding of the I-95 bridge every single day from voters.
