š§ Commonwealth Avenue š§
Next week there will be partial lane closures in both directions on Commonwealth Avenue (north and southbound lanes) between Vernon Circle and Parkes Way from 8pm, Friday 21 February to 6am, Monday 24 February for work on Raising London Circuit.
š§ Commonwealth Avenue bus stop relocation š§
The bus stop on Commonwealth Avenue, opposite Regatta Point, will be moved next week to allow for construction work on the next stage of Light Rail from Alinga Street to Commonwealth Park.
Motorists are reminded that when you want to reach West Row or Moore Street from Northbourne Avenue when travelling north, you need to turn left on Rudd Street or Barry Drive. Motorists canāt turn left into Alinga Street, which is a bus-only lane.
Lake Tuggeranong has reopened for public use.
Following a clean-up last week and the recent rain, test results show that the lake is now safe for recreational activities.
Water users should look for signage which shows the status of all waterways and lakes in the ACT.
