When I meet with @TheFIREorg supporters or super fans, they are always curious about what it’s like working here. I usually say “imagine working with 110 nerds who agree on absolutely nothing besides the value of fighting for free speech. So…pretty fun and never boring.”- Bold suit from @TheFIREorg today. "America’s founding principle is that liberty comes not from the government, but is an inherent right of every individual. Every person — whether they’re a U.S. citizen, are visiting for the week, or are here on a student visa — has freeBREAKING: FIRE is suing Secretary of State Marco Rubio, challenging the laws he is using to target lawfully present noncitizens for speech protected by the Constitution. No administration should be able to deport lawfully present noncitizens for their opinions.

- Replying to @yasharWay worse than I realized. Thank god they are ok. Violence against politicians—no matter who they are, what religion they are, what side they are on, etc.—is abhorrent. They are public servants and I just find this all so freaking sad.
A new bill in Texas attempts to outlaw online speech surrounding abortion & shows how abortion battles are becoming tech policy battles This is clearly a bill unburdened by thoughts of constitutionality, and there’s a lot to say about the speech aspects of this bill. But the- People might need a reminder of @TheFIREorg’s mission. We defend and promote the value of free speech for *all Americans* in our courtrooms, on our campuses, and in our culture. We do so with principle, and unapologetically.
