Met a guy at my cousins wedding last night and asked him what he did for work and he replied “finance” I said “cool, so what do you do on a typical day?” He replied “finance” I said “nice but what is involved?” He replied “just financial type stuff”. Are they all like this?

Older guy at church told me in April 2020 to put whatever money I had into the stock market. We never spoke about it again … until today. Today after service he took me aside and said “remember the money you put into $spy in 2020? … get it out tomorrow.”

I have a 27yr old employee who every once in a while asks me for a cash advance on his paycheck. He always complains inflation is killing him. But today I finally made the connection. A clear pattern. All 11 times he’s asked the S&P has been in significant multi day decline.

Remember in 2020 when Trump announced that Kodak the camera company invented a Covid vaccine and Kodak stock went from $1 to $50 overnight and it turned out Trumps nephew Jared Kushner and his treasurer Steve Mnuchin were balls deep in call options. This crypto grift is worse.
