- In the Rose Garden, Trump says he is an “ally of all peaceful protestors” as the world watched peaceful protestors being tear gassed outside of the WH gates.
- Trump saying clearly on Fox why he won’t fund USPS. “Now they need that money in order to make the post office work so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots...But if they don’t get those two items that means you can’t have universal mail-in voting...”
- Just in: 110-year old Viola Ford Fletcher, the oldest survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre voted today in Oklahoma. I’m told she voted for Vice President Harris.

- For the first time in history, a Black woman has been elected Vice President of the United States.
- Watching this country burn from coast to coast, it’s obvious people are angry. Yes, George Floyd touched this off. But let’s not forget: 103k+ are dead, most of them black and brown. 40 million people are unemployed. This is a nation in crisis.
- Hawley's argument is that Congress is the venue for objecting to the election. It is not. Concerns about specific state elections should and were raised in the courts. They were rejected. There is no venue for Congress to adjudicate and resolve those issues.
- Just fyi: when there is asymmetrical lying, there will be asymmetrical fact checking.
- Tough night for those of you hoping to see Ted Cruz argue this nonsensical case at the Supreme Court.
- Good for the WH aides resigning in protest today, but it's not exactly a badge of honor that it took a violent insurrection for them to decide to distance themselves (when they only have 14 days left anyway).
- Unreal: This official just said that a decision was made to not break into the classroom because the officers on site believed there was no longer an active shooting situation, even though children were calling 911 at the time pleading for officers to come and save them. My God.
