My wife, who up until recently, couldn’t give two craps about basketball, is now scheduling Indiana fever games in our family calendar.

- Total yard-sale on our walkway this morning. Fortunately nothing broken. This ice is no joke. Be careful out there!
GIF - We lost my Mom rather suddenly Tuesday due to a stroke a few weeks back. We’re all still in shock, but Dad picked us up for lunch in his 57 and we went for a cruise to Dick’s. She loved doing that. I’m pretty sure Mom is looking down from heaven with a smile on her face
- Biggest takeaway from the draft from a recruiting perspective is this: if you’re in the West and want to play in the NFL, you play for @UW_Football. No other program comes close
- I can’t help but laugh these days every time I see a @UW_Football fan freaking out because a new recruit is “only 3-stars.” Ask the NFL what they think of UW’s 3-star talent over the last decade
- Oh booo-freaking-hooo. Meanwhile in the West you’ve torn apart two programs in the aftermathThe NCAA has created an absolute mess with the transfer portal. Alabama’s roster is basically open season for 30 days. Tampering everywhere. Meanwhile, Bama can’t do anything in response because the portal is closed for other teams that have not had a coaching change. Nuts.
- Bajema is a nice pick up. @UW_MBB hasn’t landed an elite three-point shooter since CJ Wilcox. Hop has quietly added serious talent this offseason via transfer with a focus on hometown kids that got away. IMO a smart shift in recruiting strategy
- Lots of @UW_Football recruits down to UW vs OK. Such an odd pair of finalists. No disrespect to OK football but Seattle vs Norman is kind of like picking between a new BMW and your Grandpa’s Buick.
- I’m weighing in on this. IMO, If your hometown legacy matters to you, you go to UW. It doesn’t matter to everyone and there are rare exceptions of course (Jamal) but whether hardwood or the gridiron, if you truly want your city to love you, you stay home and play
- The way my Twitter feed has filled with purple of late, @UW_Football and @KalenDeBoer and his staff are out there making moves 👊🏼
