    It’s official: Henderson County defensive lineman Saadiq Clements has signed with the Univ. of Louisville to continue his education & football career! Clements originally committed to Purdue, but instead will follow head coach Jeff Brohm to Louisville to play for the Cardinals!

    Happening now, a prayer vigil in Boonville, to celebrate the life & memories of 17-year old Ashton Pryor, who died in a car accident Friday. It’s @ Mike Wilson softball field where she starred the last 2 years for Boonville. Hundreds of people came to support the Pryor family.

    Mater Dei grad Emily Goodwin has been a key pitcher for the Hoosiers too... Working out of the pen, she’s 3-0 in 5 appearances, with 1 save. In her 12 innings pitched, she has 17 strikeouts, and opponents are hitting a mere .167 against her....oh and her ERA is 0.00!

    The #IUSoftball pitching staff has been 🔑 to Indiana's 14-0 start. The staff ranks top-10 nationally in: Team ERA (1.07) - 6th place Strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.91) - 10th place In addition, Tara Trainer's 9 victories are tied for the most in the nation.

    Jackie Young is a national champion!! Notre Dame wins a wild one, 61-58, over Mississippi State. Young has now won a high school state championship at Princeton AND an NCAA national championship with the Irish! Not many athletes can say that....

    They did it!! USI shuts down Grand Valley down 1, 2, 3 in the bottom of the 7th. & the Eagles punch their ticket to the NCAA SOFTBALL D2 championships in Denver!!! USI wins it 3-2 over Grand Valley State, to win the super regional! Amazing 3-run rally in the 7th, being down 2-0!

    I would be remiss if I didn’t give a big shout out to Castle’s Alex Hemenway. He had 32 points in the Knights loss. He was a class-act to cover the last few years, an incredible talent, and it will be fun to watch him at Clemson the next 4 years!
