    Media had some fun poking at @DukeMBB coach Jon Scheyer today. Backstory: as a Cubs fan, he was jokingly distracted a while back at one of his pressers by a White Sox hat. So today, most of us came with hats repping Cardinals, Mets, Red Sox, Orioles, etc. This was his reaction.😂

    Down 10, looked like Roy Williams motioned to Coach K as if to say they weren’t going to foul. K turned and got a chance to sub out Grayson Allen for one final Senior Night cheer. RoyW applauded while they hugged. Rivalry respect.

    Re: Item 2... Unsure why people keep saying UNC did "nothing." The schools got K, RoyW, Scheyer & Hubert together for group pic -- which was put on videoboards with pregame PA acknowledgement to the notable transitions. I thought it was cool to see pic of them together, actually.

    Former Duke player told me there were 3 things that didn’t sit right w/them: 1. Hubert Davis didn’t shake assistants’ hands before game. 2. UNC did nothing to honor K’s retirement. 3. HD didn’t intervene when UNC fans chanted “F*ck Coach K” All likely led to handshake snub.

    No. 8 UNC women just rallied from 17 down to beat No. 5 Iowa State to win the Phil Knight Invitational in Portland. Two straight comebacks against legit competition for Courtney Banghart and the Tar Heels. Impressive stuff.

    No West Virginia-NC State game today due to Hurricane Florence. So this parking/tailgating lot at Carter-Finley Stadium is instead a staging area this afternoon for 45+ power company trucks due to outages in the area.
