- Replying to @zack_overflowWe chatted about this before, but Go is designed so that if you don't know anything about the codebase, it is pretty self-explanatory for newcomers (which works well in Google's case). I see Go purely from aesthetic perspective

- Replying to @zack_overflowNote that they are comparing this in “pure” Python, which we all know that it is slow. Python that folk refer to involves beyond core stdlib. But do note that there are work from the Python core team to improve the language (i.e removing GIL, JIT compiler, better bytecache)
