Well well well..the final frontier of any Ranma fan: confronting the retro anime.
ONE THREAD is NOT ENOUGH to cover these two and their differences, so view this as an introduction tweet, i will make more and more tweets about them as time goes on...

I share thoughts about media which I find to be overlooked by many, mainly Ranma ½...that or I'm a nerd

- Researching this Ranma-crossover stuff has been the strangest thing about my journey to powerscale by far. Appearantly a pony-Ranma does exist...knowing how broken the MLP verse is, this might be the strongest Ranma ever. (Look in background)
- Well well well...peak is back. I found my new favorite scene in Ranma remake so far: Ranma frantically running around the school in search of Akane, having the worst thoughts in his head as he wants to save her as soon as possible. Simply immaculate.
- I absolutely need a fanart where remake Ranma and manga Ranma make fun of retro Ranma for his terrible pacing and ridiculous fillers
- I can't believe we go on a hiatus after next week. I am enjoying Ranma way too much to take a damn break...I need every bit of Ranma ever
00:00 - I feel like people don't talk enough about this guy managing to marry this woman
- This isn't controversial at all. Well, atleast it shouldn't be. Male Ranma has less merch than Female Ranma and Shampoo...that alone should tell you what the marketing team actually cares about. Where's my cool figurines? Action poses? Romantic scenes as displayers?Controversial take: Ranma 1/2 is a great series, there's no doubt about it. But it's got a horrible marketing strategy, if not one of the worst I have ever seen in a franchise. You can truly tell that the entire marketing team doesn't understand the story.
- I decided it's time to discuss this moment. This single moment right here is what the entire series lead to. Yes, the ENTIRE series leads to this one singular moment right here. Everything Ranma fears, loves, learned...everything is on display, and it's genius. (Thread..🧵)
- Today is the day. Even coming this far for a show that I resonate with so much and seeing others like myself enjoy it is something I could only dream of happening. As long as I'm alive, I likely will never forget nor disassociate myself with Ranma. See you all in the episode!
- I'm not sponsored or anything but @isabelescask's and @lumlum_love's ''Debt, Love, Fight!'' AU might be peak
- Something I noticed while reading this scene is the order of Ranmas thoughts. "Alone" is the first thing he notices about the situation, as the biggest obstacle he has when it comes to making moves on Akane (except himself) is that he cares too much about what others think
- Many people shared their hopes with the remake, sharing what they wish it would add. So here's my hope for the remake: An episode about Ranma, without any gags, no revives, no bs, killing this mf
- What's interesting is that Ranma and Akane connecting on a musical standpoint can be seen as soon as you listen to the OP and ED... (thread🧵)i've been paying attention to the visual language portraying ranma & akane's romance from the beginning. recently, i started to pay more attention to how they sound... this is their theme song, with variations that cover a range of emotions (playfulness to heartbreak) thread 🧵
