Thinking back to simpler times, the influence that this single cut has is inconceivable. No one was even thinking about animating in this way until Yutapon created this. Today, I doubt there's a single young animator out there who hasn't studied this frame by frame.

Imagine waking up one day and thinking "today I feel like animating a whole rotating landscape with 4 different characters entirely in ones". I think the reason this cut is so underrated is because stuff like this has been normalized by Yutapon at this point.

Yes. I would love to wake up one day with all of Olivier's knowledge and experience etched into my brain, but that's not gonna happen. What I'll actually have to do to get to his level is dedicate hundreds of thousands of hours into perfecting art, but I'm not built like that.

Arifumi Imai really changed his name to "MAPPA" just to be able to animate Levi again. Now that's real dedication. Thank you so much, kid named "'freelancer' originally named 'Production I.G' but usually named 'WIT Studio' and currently named 'MAPPA'".
