We sold Tomori (better than Sarr and Christensen) and Guehi (better than Sarr and Christensen) to fund Lukaku (worse than Tammy Abraham, who we also sold).

I think Thiago Silva the best free transfer of all time. He definitely has a credible argument.

Shout to Kieran for putting this idea in my head but we’d be fools not to test the waters on a 6-month loan to see out the season.
    🇫🇷👑 N'Golo Kante (34) vs Ukraine… • 100% accurate long balls, 2/2 • 100% successful dribbles, 1/1 • 94% pass accuracy • 84 passes complete, most in match • 75% ground duels won, 6/8 • 9 recoveries • 4 tackles • 1 assist 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐍𝐓! 👏

Tammy Abraham out-scoring every striker Chelsea have had post Costa in two different leagues, 3 times. Quite remarkable, and by remarkable I mean we’re idiots.

Mount now has a goal or assist at the San Siro, Wembley, Bernabeau, Wanda, and the Dragao, all before 23.

Mount is going to have a 20 G/A season with only 1 penalty. What an absurdly good player.

Chelsea are the funniest club in the world. Transfer ban, sack Frank Lampard, win the Champions league with Tuchel, club sanctioned, club up for sale, player exodus. Viva La Cobham, I guess.

This is what a world class footballer looks like. No ‘he needs time’, no ‘it’s a dysfunctional side’, nothing. It’s been 7 months in his first start and he runs a whole midfield, creates more chances than forwards and locks it down in transition.

Chelsea fans should’ve known his quality + desire when Lampard came in he singled out Enzo as the only player who trains like he knows what it means to play for Chelsea.
🚨 Enzo Fernandez: “I’m in a lot of pain. I’ll try to recover as much as possible over these two or three weeks and be 100 per cent ready to train and play with my teammates again.” (ESPN SportsCenter)

So it’s Harry Kane to Chelsea in a Premier League shattering deal then.

Not sure it’s a hot take but Chalobah over the last two seasons has proven to be both better and about 5x more reliable than Fofana.

Christensen locked up La Liga’s top scorer and Mount showed Felix levels. Don’t chat to Cobham please.

To be fair, Pochettino definitely had his faults but his ‘let ballers ball’ motto with Jackson and Palmer has led to probably the best 2 man partnership in the league
