@SupaStoryTeller@RobotInDisgust the internet has y'all very desensitised as to what it normal, it is not normal to have hundreds of people sending you hate/death threats over social media because you made a socially unaware joke (what often happens), as a young girl
White bajans so rhsl funny yc, I went to St. Gabriel’s for 80% of my primary school time and every time I see someone (white) I went there with no matter how big you hail them up they’ll give you a smile and nod as if you’re a complete stranger
I’m actually shocked and appalled, people tweet about sex constantly, in so much detail and yet tweeting about STIs is taking it too far?? I’m confused.
This is a man that is so possessive, he tell me I can’t date anyone in Barbados cause we were together for so long that everyone sees me as his girl and he don’t want nobody coming to him bout “his girl”. This was months after we broke up.
Idk about y’all, but personally being sexually harassed makes me ANGRY. Taking away my safety and comfort in the island I call my home makes me angry. And I’m certain that if you have any kind of public image the harassment is so much worse.
im so sorry, but there is no way I was arguing with a man liming by a gas station, idc what he say to me, nothing could’ve made me acknowledge his presence, furthermore I ain’t arguing with no man that ain’t mine & that’s my 2cents.
There are so many toxic and dysfunctional depictions of heterosexual relationships on TV and popular media and it’s gay people you think should be depicted less? 🥴
