- Based on Liverpool's net + PSR position, and assuming profit for 24/25 (expected) then using the example of a £20m profit, plus allowable deductions and £105m PSR limit, LFC could still lose more than £200m in 25/26 and be PSR compliant after Isak, Wirtz, Kerkez, Frimpong and GM.

- You can forget as a football fan how much impact the players have on you emotionally and how present in your life they are. You chant their name, it's on the back of your shirt, they bring moments of pure joy. You feel you know them. The grief will be real for so many people.

- For so long the £100m figure for Caicedo was mooted. With LFC not willing to meet Southampton valuation for Lavia at £50m, why so happy to overpay on the £100m when Chelsea only had bid £80m? Maybe the £111m is a sum they know Chelsea can't reach given their VERY real P&S issues.

- "Financially unsustainable" to subsidise away coach travel. £900m on transfers is sound. Football fandom exists in real life, not just anonymous opinions on here. People should be more arsed.
- A grown man chortled to his Mrs about my five-year-old daughter wearing her Chester shirt IN CHESTER today (her choice btw). All that is wrong with English football fandom. Isn’t there a TV you should be clapping at somewhere mate?
- Liverpool's player sales so far are set to reach £108.1m in player trading profit so far. In contrast, the annual amortisation cost for 2025/26 of all the additions so far comes to £47.7m for the year. They can, and will, do more this window.
