    PARENTS! STOP babying these kids! HOLD them accountable! Tell them to get their butts in the GYM. Not playing? Get in the gym. Not making shots? Get in the gym. Want more playing time? Get in the gym. It can’t be the coaches fault EVERY TIME. 🤷🏽‍♀️

    Parents! Stop assuming all EXPOSURE is good. If your kid can’t make a left hand layup. Dribble with their left hand. Doesn’t play defense. Has bad body language. They’re not getting exposure, they’re getting EXPOSED. & don’t NO college coach in America wanna see that! 🤷🏽‍♀️

    The PARENT entitlement has got to stop. I know this may hurt some, but your kid is not as good as you think - and that’s a lot of kids. Basketball specifically, there’s a lot of facets. Stop setting these kids up for failure because YOU think they’re something they’re not.

    We gotta do a better job of TEACHING the game. Real actions, real reads, real IQ! And allowing kids to THINK and grow. The game is not a script, the game is FEEL. How do you teach feel? Teach them HOW to think.

    Watched my pops do what most wouldn’t for years. Sacrifice for kids. Never got paid from AAU, never even wanted to. Just wanted to make a difference and impact. He’s my dad but I’m PROUD to say he’s so many others “dad” too. Purpose is so much bigger than $.

    Parents.. Stop w/ the false reality & expectation that scoring a lot of points means you played well. The scoring role is not filled by many. Stop making kids think that’s the ONLY way they bring value. It makes for bad basketball because they’re making terrible decisions..🤷🏽‍♀️

    PARENTS. 🗣️ You can’t and won’t save your kids from the fate of failure in sports. THEY HAVE TO FAIL to be better. Stop trying to prevent that from happening but expecting them to be “the best”. Let them fail. IT’S OK. .. life is the same thing 🤷🏽‍♀️😉
