    Cape Town is a place i come to frequently for work. Decided to do a holiday trip for the 1st time in many years. Will not do so in a hurry again. W/out the suit and with the All Stars etc.on,the levels of racism & exclusionary practises are terrible.Dear Durbs, fix those beaches!

    South Africans should condemn without any reservations, the violence against Somalians or any other person because of their origin.If people are accused of selling dangerous products,redress must be sought through police. Inciting violence is a crime.

    Dire Tladi of South Africa was just elected by the UN Security Council and the General Assembly to be a judge for International Court of Justice. The first judge from SA for nearly 8 decades. He was one of 5 new judges elected onto the ICJ. Well done @DireTladi4ICJ @DIRCO_ZA

    xiii)The language of “wipe out” and “eradicate” indicate genocidal intent. Remember the crime of genocide turns on intent. Even if you kill just one child but the stated intent is to wipe out an identifiable group or people, in part or in whole, it is the crime of genocide.

    Absolutely. While the report is confidential ( despite our request for it to be public) the ICC confirmed that article 98 does not provide immunities for non-state party Heads of State. It confirms this in the Mongolia ruling which is public.

    South Africa closely studied the "immunity" issue when it was considering whether Putin could enter the country for the BRICS summit. It ultimately decided that Putin did not have immunity and would have to be arrested. Now France is claiming Netanyahu would have immunity....
