- iOS fanboys seem to have forgotten that iMessage didn't exist until 2011. Prior to that, all the message bubbles in the messing app were all green, indicating SMS/MMS. Even to this day, that's what the green bubbles mean. It has nothing to do with Android or Windows Phone.
