- High school baseball coaches, we should ALL work together for the players we share; it is in fact about them… but if you’re going to be territorial over when/where/who they train, hit, or pitch with, you need to take over the countless hours spent getting them recruited as well.
- The JUCO baseball attitude is comical. @GraysonBaseball @mccbaseball1 @WCoyoteBaseball @BlinnBaseball @NavarroBasebal1 @sanjacbaseball etc etc… to the parents & players that haven’t seen these teams on the field, I highly recommend having your son work out w/ them… then judge.
- Reality check… if you’re 16 or older, and it’s a debate on whether you really want to play baseball this summer, it’s actually not a debate. Don’t play. There are too many others that want those ABs/innings that you’re going to waste. Setting 💵 on 🔥#dowhatmakesyouhappy

- Turn the tv on… 95/96 is the new 89/90, & if you miss in the middle, it gets barreled too. “Touching 90” living mid 8’s w/ HS average secondary stuff gets turned around or spit on in JC ball… the point, touching 90 is not a “dude” anymore.
- 20 years ago when I graduated high school had my coaches not held me accountable for following rules like spitting seeds on turf or fulfilling my team commitment my parents would have been upset w/ my coaches… today, parents are upset because the coaches hold kids accountable 🤔
- Bucs win 𝙗𝙞𝙜 No. 5 Blinn picked up a 9-3 victory over sixth-seeded Gaston at the 2023 #NJCAABaseball DI World Series! The win marked the Buccaneers' first in Grand Junction since 2014. njcaa.org/championships/…
- Recruiting has become a combination of a Vegas crap table and a popularity contest. Players w/ zero varsity experience and no confirmed position making verbals to power 5 schools is baffling to say the least; the taller the stack of chips, the longer you get to sit at the table.
- Just spent an hour on the phone w/ @JayHundley5 our @CanesMidwest director. Needed help getting an underclass arm on a roster for PG Worlds... took one hour to secure. Power of working together for the players. I’ve always said relationships > trophies!
- Seniors in HS that have not committed to play college baseball… college baseball players “lift & get bigger” AND play games in the fall. Being in the gym isn’t seasonal, it’s a lifestyle. Transfer portal, grad transfers, additional Covid years… you need every look you can get.
