- The #Mariners fan who incredibly caught two foul balls in a row last night meeting Josh Rojas before today’s game. He is also named Josh and he’ll be throwing out the first pitches tonight. Yes, pitches.
00:00 - The Mariners take LSU left-hander Kade Anderson with the No. 3 overall pick in the MLB draft.
00:00 - All 18 of Raleigh's home runs in the final round traveled 400 feet or more. Nobody besides Jazz Chisholm, who hit only three in his round, had a round without a HR under 400 feet.
- BREAKING: It's official. Wesco athletic directors have approved the start of traditional fall sports on Feb. 22. Story to come.

- Justin Hollander says Logan Gilbert is expected to start a rehab assignment with Tacoma this week, likely Thursday. Bryce Miller is expected to be activated at some point during the current home stand.
- Cal Raleigh just threw Chandler Simpson out trying to steal second base to end the top of the fourth. Simpson had 104 stolen bases in the minors last season.
- BREAKING: Wesco athletic directors have tentatively approved their plan to begin fall sports on Feb. 22. They will meet again for a final vote Wednesday.
- FINAL: Mariners 6, Astros 1 Seattle takes the first game of an important three-game set coming out of the break. The M's improve to 52-45 and cut their deficit in the AL West to four games.
- Arozarena shoots a single back up the middle and the Mariners win this one 2-1 over the Twins. They improve to 32-26 and take two of three during the series.
