- Congratulations to senior point guard Brian Harper who finished the season ranked #1 in the NCAA (All Divisions) with 8.5 assists per game. Harper was also a Statistical Champion in assists per game and total assists as a junior in 2018-19.
- With his 13 assists in Saturdayโs win vs. Columbus State, Brian Harper has 217 assists on the season- setting a new Young Harris program record. Harper currently leads all of the NCAA DII in total assists (217) and assists per game (8.3)
- Senior captain Alphonso Willis has been granted his medical redshirt and will return to the court for the 2020-21 season. #20 has averaged 20ppg and 6rpg in his time at Young Harris.
- Young Harris College head coach Jeremy Currier has been named @HoopDirt NCAA Division II Coach of the Week! @YoungHarrisMBB went 3-0 last week and with a 10-0 overall record, is off to the best start in program history.
- Brian Harper has 999 career points. Come out tomorrow at 2pm to see Brian score his 1,000 point and the Mountain Lions battle Francis Marion
- Received great news today- Alphonso Willis fully cleared and ready to get back on the court
- New hardware came into the office today. First athlete in Young Harris College history to be a Statistical Champion in the NCAA. Best playmaker in the country @_bkh3 - back for an encore next year!
- Construction begins today on the new court in the YHC Rec Center- new floor design looks great
