Is it just me, or does something look different with @WContreras40 catching the rock? From the pre-pitch movement, to the elbow flexion & soft receipt, all while working up to the pitch (๐Ÿ—๏ธ). I know this is an easy strike but he's making it look like it's supposed to.

In baseball, you canโ€™t just try harder. The element of art in the game requires more than sheer will.
โ€œ...baseball is such a skill based game. Sometimes in football you want to will it to be done, you canโ€™t really do that in baseball.โ€ Spend time developing skill!

Interesting move here by Reese about the time the runner would be taking off. The small shift pre-sets his direction and allows him to make a special throw.
One run lead in the ninth and Reese McGuire makes a NASTY throwโ€ฆ.

Same guy goes yard today, no surprise You love to see it
You want a role model? Look no further than Stephen Vogt. This man will retire tomorrow. He will never put on another pair of shin guards or chest protector. That doesnโ€™t mean there isnโ€™t work to be done TODAY. THIS is how you Big League. Some heroes wear capes. Some wear cups.

Marcus Semien on some adjustments he made... Happens frequently with hitters, especially off the machine. Sometimes, we just need to aim higher.

and @TonyWolters casually catching a 99mph sinker wit 20 inches of run Sure, the whole ball is on the plate but never a doubt with the frame. Just how you draw it up. You can see his glove hand relax into his load as Brusdar approaches release

It is about time for the catchers to get some more love here at @DrivelineBB We did some work analyzing pop time and what's important to improve thrown-downs in 2018, but @XX_Garrett is now collecting movement data to quantify framing ability. Shketit bit.ly/poptyne
