    This is my favorite picture. Anyone who kept up with Chris knew that all he ever spoke about was making it to Dallas. It was a short success, but a success nonetheless. Our best friend @SEMoelleringVA took it the night we celebrated moving into OUR apartment. You did it baby. ❤

    Even in Heaven my Chris is taking such good care of me. It turns out that for the two and a half years he waited for lungs, he wrote me letters and poetry in case something went wrong, and backed up voice messages he left me. One of them says "Hey beautiful girl."

    Going through photos, I realized that even in the hospital, me and Chris had a lot of fun. One day while on the trach and a LOT of pain meds, he asked me to write "I'm doing ok" on his white board so he could send a picture to his friends and his family. These were the results:

    Stopped by Kamehacon for a few hours to visit the positively gorgeous memoral for Chris. I really cannot express how beautiful and classy it was. My photos don't do it justice, but I couldn't be more grateful. I know he would be tickled and so honored.

    Our first date was Onicon 2012. I flew in Thursday, and he met me at the gate and kissed me right in the middle of the airport. By Sunday I knew he was my person, and kept the flight ticket that brought me to him ever since. October 18th. Our first and last kiss.

    It's hard to believe that Chris has been gone for a week now. Sometimes it feels like a few seconds. Sometimes it feels like a few lifetimes. I keep catching myself trying to call him or planning to tell him something later. I feel like half of me has been amputated.
