- A poignant moment from today’s Commencement: Marshall Geib crossed the stage and accepted a degree on behalf of his late son, Clayton, followed by a lengthy standing ovation. A dedicated scholar and student-athlete, Clayton will always be a special part of the Class of ’18.
- Congratulations @WoosterBaseball, your 2018 NCAA Div. III Mideast Region champions!!! The Scots will be one of eight teams competing for the national championship, which begins later this week in Appleton, Wis. #GoScots

- Students and staff last evening installed 2,977 flags outside of Kauke Hall as memorial to those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks.The flag display will be in place through Thursday, September 12, for all those wishing to pay respect and reflect on this moment in history.
- Seniors overwhelmingly nominated Al Conrad in Dining Services to lead the annual I.S. Monday parade. It’s a new tradition this year for students to name their "Tootsie" Grand Marshal. Al said he’s “at a loss for words!" (Which he doubts they'll believe since he talks so much!)
- In 2008, a community full of Scotsmen were visited by an Irishman. Today, that same man will visit the homes of every American (virtually) as he becomes the 46th President of the United States. Let’s hear it for Woooooooooster!
