- People see #600 as a really big number, and it is, but the number of athletes he’s impacted is even larger. Congratulations to Coach Eckenrod on dual win #600 tonight. Only the 3rd coach in @IHSAA history to accomplish the feat.
- With tonight’s school board approval, we are excited to announce that Williamsburg’s 1st Girls Wrestling Head Coach is Drew Hinschberger! I can’t wait to see the impact he’s going to have on our wrestlers and growing the girls wrestling program @ Williamsburg!
- Congratulations to senior, Derek Weisskopf, on signing his NLI to play football at the University of Iowa next fall!
- When you’re around certain athletes 365 days/year, you find out their passions. Bubba was bummed when he told me he was going to miss games for Disney & Fargo last summer. There’s no way I couldn’t support him. This is his passion. I’m so dang proud he reached his goal tonight!
- We might be in masks this year and asked to spread out more than normal, but there’s something about the first Friday Night Lights in the fall. The buzz around every small town today makes it all the better. Excited to watch our boys compete tonight! #GoRaiders
