- Spare a thought this evening for all the brilliant catering businesses out there - big and tiny - who have been re-building with passion and excitement and this evening are fielding calls cancelling everything.
- Am hearing from chefs around the country that customers are cancelling tables. These are not tables booked at times that would cut short their dinner with the 10PM curfew. The Govt’s tactics are frightening people to stay at home. Hospitality is safer than home. Please Eat Out

- I’ve heard the bright, brilliant, funny and eternal voice of #SteveWrightInTheAfternoon coming out of cafés, barbers, builders’ vans, shops, cars and my radio all my life. His sad departure from @BBCRadio2 makes me feel like I’ve been sacked as a listener. 😢
