- Interesting note from VT's writeup on the upcoming BC-VT game: "Virginia Tech alums Trey, Terrell and Tremaine Edmunds are sponsoring 50 foster children from their hometown of Danville, Va., allowing them to bus to Blacksburg to attend Saturday's game vs. BC."
- Rayshard Ashby was ACC Linebacker of the Week 5 times this year. No other linebacker won the award more than once. Yet Ashby is second team All-ACC. Yeah, makes sense. 🙄

- This morning at 10:30, a poster on our boards said his dad has been diagnosed w/stage 4 sarcoma, is "terrified," and was hoping for a message from Frank Beamer. Within two hours, John Ballein got word to Frank, and Coach Beamer called the man up. Frank Beamer is one of a kind. 👊

- I love seeing Seth Greenberg break down a Virginia Tech win. And I don't mean that spitefully, or anything like that. I genuinely love hearing him speak enthusiastically about the #Hokies.
- Virginia Tech Baseball is such a great story. Nothing was expected of these guys. Picked to finish last in the Coastal. Now they're hosting a Super Regional.
- Congrats to my daughter Anneliese for getting accepted into @virginia_tech! A state championship and a VT acceptance, five days apart. That's a pretty good week! (she's the middle one in the racing pic)
