The entire Whitley Bay Football Club community have been devastated to learn that 13 year old Edie Smart, one of our Junior team members, tragically passed away yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with her mother Louise, her father Paul, who is coach to our Under 15's Sharks

So, as you may have seen. Alex Kempster has been on trial with @OfficialPVFC . Played for their reserves yesterday in a 2-0 win over Bradford City reserves. Setting up one and getting on the scoresheet himself. I'm sure you're all with me in wishing him the best of luck!!

DEPARTURE | As you may have already heard, Alex Kempster has agreed to sign a professional contract for National League North side York City. Alex has risen through the ranks at Hillheads. Reserves to first team and finally as Captain, Scoring 54 goals in 208 appearances....

BREAKING NEWS... Prestwich Heys have been removed from the @IsuzuFAVase for fielding an ineligible player in the tie against Whitley Bay. As a result Whitley Bay have been reinstated and will be at home to @WD_CFC in the 3rd Round on Saturday 3rd December. Full story to follow.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing early this morning of Tommy Moody, a true Whitley Bay FC stalwart. Tommy was a tremendous servant to the club for well over 30 years, possibly best known for running the canteen and club shop. RIP Tommy Moody.

That one's for you Robbie!! How appropriate that the opening goal of the exciting 3-3 draw on a foggy afternoon at @ConsettAFC was scored by @CraigMcFarlane2 the one man on the pitch who played with Robbie Livermore earlier in his career. Craig's celebration says it all!
