Est. in 1862, we are a historic Cricket Club in the village of Whitburn. Playing in the North East Premier League, all are welcome in our clubhouse and bar.
- Wasn’t the result we were hoping for but we have come along way.. 4th out of 1420 teams in the country. We are so proud of what they have accomplished and the future is bright #upthevillage
- Everyone associated with Whitburn CC are devastated to hear Geoff Dickens has sadly passed away. He was a brilliant supporter of all our teams, organised many fund raisers for the club & most importantly a great friend to many. Thoughts are with Joanne, Alex, Brooke & the family
- What a 7 days for our very own Zac Smith. On Thursday he represented @DurhamCricket EPP side at the Riverside and then yesterday went and scored 100 not out off 112 balls v Leicestershire #captainzac

- Everyone at the club are saddened to hear of the passing of John Hays. He lived just around the corner from our ground and he would often call in to watch a game whilst enjoying a glass of something. He’ll be a huge loss and our thoughts are with Irene, family and friends.

- It’s with great sadness we hear of the passing of Len Ashhurst. He was a great ambassador of the cricket club and was the driving force of our new scoreboard, the seating around the ground and the football talk ins. A gentleman who will be sadly missed.
- Good luck and stay safe @anth_chambers. Off to Manchester this morning to help transform the G-MEX into a Nightingale Hospital. Top man and well done for stepping up 👍🏻
