    I’ve already posted on Instagram that I’ve been told my cancer is in complete remission! It's an incredible, miraculous feeling and I'm still in a swirl of emotion. Thank you to the team that has seen me through and thank you for all your kind messages. I am truly blessed

    This is a closure notice… because after much thought I have decided to withdraw from this forum. I enjoyed Twitter when I first joined but now I’m totally opposed to the direction it has taken - and seeing @elonmusk onstage at Madison Square Garden was the final straw…

    So sad at the passing of the great Wilko Johnson. I first saw Dr Feelgood at the Hope & Anchor in 1974 and they did their first ever radio session on my @BBCR1 show a few days later. Wilko was absolutely unique. His energy and spirit were incredible. We’ll really miss him #RIP

    So sad to hear that Paul O’Grady has passed away. I met him many times at @BBCRadio2 and he was lovely - kind, sensitive, caring and funny. And he was a trail-blazer - a brave, outspoken voice on behalf of gay rights and animal welfare. We will really miss him #PaulOGradyRIP

    I’ve been celebrating an amazing 52 years with the @BBC from my first show on @BBCR1 and OGWT on @BBCTwo in the 70’s to todays @BHarrisCountry on @BBCRadio2 @BBCSounds - still here, still broadcasting and still loving every moment.Thanks to everyone who’s joined me on the journey
