If the sole motivation was finishing under green, then why complicate and delay things by unlapping cars? Why not just leave them where they were? How does initiating an unlapping procedure make a green finish easier? 🤷‍♂️

Mercedes managed to stay under budget. And they took the ’21 championship to the wire. And without Masi’s unprecedented race manipulation, would’ve won. Red Bull went over budget. And still needed to steal a win. In what world can Red Bull credibly keep that championship? #F1

And let’s not forget it was Max who walked off the podium. Lewis had everything thrown at him and still won, and Max couldn’t handle it. Then, after the FIA stole Lewis’s rightful 8th, Lewis had the strength of mind and character to shake Max’s hand. There’s the difference.
