- The basis of American democracy is that we pick our leaders - our leaders do not pick their voters. We celebrate the millions of Americans who overcame barriers to the ballot box, mobilized their communities and voted in record breaking numbers. We the people have the power.
- 2018: Kentucky had 3,700 polling places open. 2020: Less than 200 polling places will be open for tomorrow's primary. Fewer polling places turns voters away. Long wait times and lines keep voters from making their voices heard. This is what voter suppression looks like.
