Strong work by Westborough Firefighter Mark Boyer who assisted the male that was rescued in Cedar Swamp this week with recovering his $20K falcon. By using GPS Firefighter Boyer, who volunteered his time off duty, located the bird that has since been taken to Tufts in Grafton.

- Westborough Firefighters responded to Mill Pond today for a male through the ice, 2000’ from shore. Firefighters entered the water, secured the victim and effected a rescue. Thanks to our mutual aid partners for all of your help!!!
- Today is Firefighter Matt Stockwell’s last shift with Group 3 before being deployed to the Middle East on Active Duty with the Air Force. We will miss Matt very much and look forward to his healthy and safe return next year.

- Big shout out to Shrewsbury Engine 2!! This crew covered our station today and bought lunch and had it waiting for companies as they returned from Hopkinton’s 3rd Alarm. Thank you Lt Towner and company!
- Thank you to the community for supporting the addition of a fourth ambulance to the departments fleet. Medic 4 was delivered today and should be in service next week.
- Engine 4 and Car 1 worked this building fire today on Millbury Street in Grafton. 4 Alarms were transmitted and there were no serious injuries.
