    Drew Mestemaker never started a varsity game at QB in high school, was a 0-star recruit, and decided to walk-on at North Texas. The freshman now leads the country in passing, just threw for a school-record 608 yards, and has the Mean Green 7-1.

    One year ago today, the morning before the Super Bowl, Jill told me that she had breast cancer. So this is the anniversary of us joining hands and hearts to overcome another medical challenge. Jill lost her hair. She never lost her faith or her fight - or her inner goodness.

    Dak Prescott’s No. 1 WR was traded and he had his worst season. Aaron Rodgers’ No. 1 WR was traded and he had one of his worst seasons. Patrick Mahomes’ No. 1 WR was traded - and he’s going to another Super Bowl and should win NFL MVP.

    I’m sitting at hospital while Jill receives her radiation treatment. I see a lot of people in physical turmoil as their bodies and minds fight various cancers. Stop and reflect on the value of good health. And say a prayer for those lacking the same.

    As I look forward to opening day in baseball and the beginning of the ⁦@Braves⁩ new season, I wanted to pause and ask we all remember ⁦@espn⁩ baseball expert ⁦@pedrogomezESPN⁩ and his family on a day that was annually so special to him and the game he loved.

    Source: #Cowboys Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones have moved slowly and with “abundance of care and respect” for Jason Garrett. That phase expected to conclude soon with Garrett not part of organization. Next phase to involve candidate interviews will begin quickly thereafter.
