This is Sarah and Gemma, Wendy’s daughters. Our mum died peacefully early this morning. She wrote a blog post before she died so you can read about it from her perspective. Sarah and Gemma

Everything that everyone with dementia says is as important as the next. I’m simply lucky to have met @whartonswords and through her expertise and friendship, been given the opportunity to write about my life with and without dementia in tow.

Thanks for missing me! I’ve been in hospital as I had a bit of an accident at home but it’s quite tiring to post. I’ve just escaped so now just need to recover ….they brought me Molly the therapy dog for a cuddle which made my day though..
Has anyone heard from @WendyPMitchell recently? She’s not posted anything for a while, I hope she’s ok x

I hid the poppy pebbles I made this morning around the village for people to find, the young, the old & everyone in between. I was staggered by the interest shown & my village community has embraced the challenge....we all need a reason 2 trundle at the mo 🙄 #dementiacraftivist
