I'm delighted to share that I will be joining the Department of Microbiology at @harvardmed in January 2025. The Laboratory of Systems Virology will study the dark proteome of viral genomes to understand how viruses work their magic🪄 Thrilled to be back in beautiful Boston 🌟

Our work profiling #SARSCoV2 HLA-I peptidome is now published! cell.com/cell/fulltext/…. We discovered T cell epitopes from out-of-frame ORFs in S and N not captured by current vaccines, some of which elicit stronger T cell responses than immunodominant canonical epitopes. 🧵

We are excited to share our work profiling HLA-I presentation in #SARSCoV2 infected cells. We provide the first view of HLA-I peptides across #SARSCoV2 genome and uncover epitopes from internal out-of-frame ORFs in S and N not captured by current vaccines biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

This week was my last retreat as a postdoc at the @broadinstitute 🥹 I was incredibly honored to receive the Eric S. Lander award and to talk about the dark proteome of viruses. Excited to begin my next chapter at @harvardmed next month! (thx @NeuroLuebbert for the lovely 📸)

My final(!) paper from @segal_eran lab with the amazing #RonitNir. We devised a method to measure 15000 designed promoters from a fixed site in the genome and used it to interrogate the architecture and cis-regulatory elements of human promoters #TxnJC 1/ genome.cshlp.org/cgi/content/lo…

In a new study, we provide genome-wide view of #SARSCoV2 peptides that are presented on the HLA-II complex. We expose peptides from non-canonical ORFs and find striking differences between viral proteins that are presented on the HLA-I and HLA-II complexes biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Now out @CellReports -- we find striking differences between viral proteins that are presented on class I and class II HLAs, resulting in distinct targets for killer and helper T cells. cell.com/cell-reports/p…
