Wearside Football League - Established 1892
- The League is delighted to announce that Durham City have paid the debt in full to Willington AFC and paid the bond to the league. Therefore, the team can recommence its fixtures this Saturday 3rd December 2022 away to Norton & Stockton Ancients.
- Congratulations to @CABoldon who have won their appeal to the @FA and now will be promoted to @TheOfficialNL Div 2
- The League can today confirmed it has received the resignation of Durham City AFC with immediate affect. This will be reported to the league committee and a fine in accordance with league rules will be levied

- Five of our clubs have applied for promotion to Step 6. Darlington Town Durham Corinthians Chester Le Street Utd Gateshead Leam Rangers Wolviston Good luck to all both on and off the field.
- The Wearside League have completed its AGM on Zoom and all 15 teams who made application have been accepted for the 2020/21 season. The league will operate with a First division of 18 and Second Division of 19.
- The Wearside League in the interest of safety have postponed all this afternoon fixtures
- I can confirm that @redcarathleticf and @CMCelticFC have both had their promotions confirmed to @theofficialnl and @nwcfl respectively. Good luck to both teams

- The Wearside League AGM was held today, Durham Utd move into the Northern League, Resignation were received from i2i, Richmond Mavericks and Wolviston Res. Due to the number of applications a 3rd division has been added. Division are as follows:-
