    The polar shift of Canadian politics between the feds and Ontario is real. Nearly 85% of the time since WW2 has had a different party in Ottawa than at Queen's Park. We're right on schedule for another, based on post-1980 trends, too.

    The strongest indication anywhere that the Federal Liberals are on their way out of Ottawa and the Conservatives will win, is when the Ontario Liberals are in a serious fight to take back control of Queen's Park from the Tories. It's the polar shift of Canadian politics.

    In a few hours, unless extended before midnight, all US vaccine and public health mandates at the land border with Canada expire and entry will return to pre-pandemic. Unvaccinated Canadians, still abused and segregated by their own gov, will now have a legal means of escape.

    I just picked up my parents from the airport after returning home from their European vacation. Everyone over there is living life normally and they even travelled with unvaccinated visitors from other countries, as they allow testing in lieu. Canada is a goddamn joke.

    Word on the street is that Air Canada tomorrow will be defying the feds and going mask optional on all their flights domestic and international. Mask rules are causing too many problems and a competitive disadvantage when others don't require them. Waiting for more info.

    The biggest story of this convoy that no one is talking about is that the Hutterites - a religious group of pacifists who normally reject any political activity - are following the convoy and feeding the truckers. This isn't just a protest. It's an entire social movement.

    Unvaccinated Canadians who want to visit the United States but don't want to play fast and loose with US CBP can use the Bahamas-Florida ferry loophole. No vaccination required to enter the Bahamas, and none required to enter Florida via ferry from the Bahamas. Now you know.

    The entire reason "Ontario PC Sources" ran to the media to say Poilievre was going to lose Carleton a few days before the election was because Ford had people there working for Bruce Fanjoy the entire time. It was personal for Ford. And now, it's personal for the entire CPC.
