00:00 - Highways crews finally reach Croglin earlier today. More work to be done..
- So... in the past 48 hours our gritters have clocked up over 27,000km (or 16,000 miles). And crews will be heading out again for a full gritting run from 8pm tonight.

- Work has started to install the new wooden-clad crash barriers on Kirkstone Pass 🏞️ The new safety barriers need no additional maintenance to what is usually required and make an outstanding difference visually, complementing the stunning landscape. ➡️ bit.ly/3uWNBoy
00:00- Guess what, we are out gritting, oh yes we are, all because of the sun is melting some of our roads. Don't worry, we're on it, our gritters will be treating these roads with dust to help cool the surface and protect the surface.
