    Dubois didn't even celebrate. From the second he won & AJ was helped back to his corner, all he wanted to do was check on him. Kieran Farrell & Don Charles tried to celebrate with him & he bounced them away. He politely waited around the huddle in AJs corner to touch gloves

    Easy to say now but I always knew he was capable of this sort of caper. Just needed the right club to have the bottle to give him a shot. How sublime it was this one, 40 years on from making him first AP. Now, in the words of the Virgin Mary: "I'm going down the pub for a week"

    I spent a good eight years bigging Lawrence Okolie up, pushing his story and potential and fights. Then he banned me and my paper from interviewing him. I rolled with the punch. But I would much prefer it if we were banned from watching his fights.

    Matchroom completed a superb week of tributes for Ron Lewis last night. The big man would have been excited by Bowen, worried for Yafai & gutted for Wood - also quietly seething that my ringside sweets contained gluten. He would have raced home to his family on 7:24am train too

    Asked Eddie why bother with VADA testing if the findings are going to be ignored: "We do VADA testing for almost every fight. Conor wanted it, Eubank Jr wanted it. They both signed up for it. Everyone knows they are being tested." None the wiser.
