Proud of our @WalesHighDT (plus a bonus History and Science teacher 😜) who are working hard to produce PPE over the next few days! All this in one day @pepediiasio @Dominic_E_Beck #PPEforTheNHS
Due to the additional snow fall overnight and the hazardous conditions, we have taken the decision to close the school today. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Please stay safe and we hope to see you tomorrow.
Car park this morning - full before 8am! Our Staff working hard delivering lessons, keeping the school “ticking” over, supporting Key Worker Students and making sure we look after the community. Who says schools are closed? @pepediiasio 👇🏽
A huge thank you to all that Mr Jones has brought to WHS! Everybody’s favourite teacher & a fantastic leader. Mr Jones made time for everybody & as a result is a much loved member of our community! Enjoy the next chapter RJ!” #OnceWalesalwaysWales 💙💛
Due to continued extreme weather conditions on many of our travel routes to school, we have taken the decision that the school will remain closed today. We hope that travel routes will improve over the weekend so that school can open as normal Monday. Stay safe and warm ☃️😊
⭐️⭐️IMPORTANT MESSAGE - John Day Tribute Page 🌟🌟As the wonderful messages of condolence continue to come in - we’ve opened an online tribute book for you to share your thoughts, memories and pictures #MisterWales#JDTheWalesWayjohnday2020.muchloved.com 💙💛
We are extremely saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Over the coming days, we will remember HM across the school and join with our community to mourn her loss. She was an inspirational woman who was admired worldwide for her lifelong devotion and leadership.
Good morning ☃️ We have made an early decision to close the school due to the difficulties with travel in the snow. Where possible, continue with the work that was set last week on the 28th. Stay at home and keep warm and safe 😊⛄️❄️
