- On a vote of 5-0, the Scottsboro City School Board has hired Brad Dudley as the new principal at Scottsboro High School. Dudley will begin his second stint as principal at @SCT_Wildcats. He will join us live Friday morning at 10am on WWIC 1050 Radio.
- Congratulations to @ScottsboroHoops @CarleyBell9 for hitting 1,000 career points tonight in their win over Guntersville. Carley joins 11 other Lady Wildcats on the 1,000 point club, including her mother, Alicia Bridges Bell. @SCT_Wildcats @aldotcomPreps
- Congrats to Jess Smith, hired last night as new head baseball coach for @shsbaseball4. Smith has served as assistant at Russellville and is a 2012 graduate of Fort Payne HS. Played at Central Alabama CC and @UNAAthletics
- The Scottsboro BOE on a vote of 5-0 approves the hiring of Chris Bell as the HC of @SBOROFTBL. Bell comes to Scottsboro from Class 7A Oak Mountain, where in nine seasons he posted a record of 47-49 in one of the toughest Class 6A/7A regions in the state. @jbo_sports12
