BREAKING NEWS: Sweetwater High School has hired Tommy Bunch as their new Head Football Coach. As Meigs County's Head Coach last season, Bunch led the Tigers to a 12-1 record, a Region 3AAA Championship, and a quarterfinal round appearance in the playoffs.

BREAKING: Mike Martin has announced his resignation as Head Football Coach at Sweetwater High School. Martin has served as Head Coach at SHS since 2019. He led the Wildcats to a 10-3 record this season and an appearance in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs. @Sweetwater_FB

BREAKING: Sweetwater High School has named Caleb Slover as their next Head Football Coach. Slover was the Head Coach at Cocke County from 2013-18 and most recently Morristown East from 2019-22.

We're at Sweetwater High School this morning where the Wildcats have named Joe Allen as their next Head Boys Basketball Coach. Allen has been coach at the Sweetwater Junior High since 1996 and led the Junior Cats to a state championship game appearance this past season.

Sweetwater High has named Caleb Norwood as their new Athletics Director. Norwood has his Masters from Carson-Newman and has been teaching at SHS for 5 yrs. He has been married to his wife, Laura, for 6 yrs and they have two sons, Conor and Knox. Congratulations, Mr. Norwood!
