Today my position of sports reporter at The Post-Star was eliminated by corporate. No hard feelings, it's a reality of our industry. Many thank-yous to the players, coaches and fans who talked to me and whose stories I could share. I hope we meet again.

I have professional news to share. I have accepted a job as a sports reporter with @dgazette / @dgazettesports. I begin March 1, and to say I’m psyched doesn’t do my emotions justice. Also, my new Twitter handle is @WLSpringstead, and I hope old & new folks will follow.
